The Dakar towel is a bath towel from the Portuguese brand Graccioza. It suits everyday use in the bathroom, from drying off after a shower or bath to layering into a coordinated set of home textiles. The towel pairs dense cotton fabric with a defined geometric pattern for a clean, understated look that pairs easily with other bathroom accessories.
Sizes
The Dakar towel is available in five sizes:
- 30x50 cm — a small towel for hands, face or beauty routines, also useful as a guest towel.
- 46x76 cm — a versatile hand and face towel, convenient for everyday use in the bathroom or kitchen.
- 50x100 cm — a medium bath towel for the face, hair and body after a shower.
- 70x140 cm — a standard large bath towel for the body after a shower or bath.
- 95x150 cm — a very large bath towel, big enough to wrap around the body completely; also suits a sauna, pool or beach.
Material and density
The towel is made from 100% cotton with a density of 650 g/m². This density is typical of dense bath towels: the fabric feels soft against the skin, absorbs moisture well and wears more slowly with regular use compared with lighter fabrics. A denser weave also means the towel holds its shape and pile better after repeated washing and drying.
Pattern
The Dakar pattern follows a Geometry motif, where clean straight lines form a restrained, contemporary design without excess ornamentation. It pairs easily with neutral, plain-coloured textiles in the bathroom, and its understated graphic keeps its definition even after repeated washing and extended use.
Country of manufacture
